The PSC Falcon 4620 is a high performance, extremely rugged, wireless Windows vehicle mount computer. The PSC Falcon 4620 features your choice of the latest Microsoft Windows operating sytems coupled with a powerfum 800 Mhz processor and large 12.1" color touchscreen display. The PSC Falcon 4620 is designed for warehousing and distribution applications where a rugged Windows vehicle mount computer is required.
Designed for the harshest environments of the warehouse or loading dock, the PSC Falcon 4620 features your choice of the latest Microsoft Windows operating system coupled with a powerful 800 MHz processor. PSC's radio independent support means you have a choice of 2.4GHz 802.11b radios including Cisco Aironet or Symbol Spectrum24 HR.
The PSC Falcon 4620 boasts a 12.1" (30.7cm) TFT SVGA color touchscreen display, yet the installed system is similar in size to many 10" (25.4cm) competing models. The screen is ideal for touchscreen applications, and features a bright 420 NIT display, providing great readability both indoors and out.
The 800MHz processor combined with up to 512MB RAM provides the performance necessary for the most complex applications. Integrated wired Ethernet allows easy initial loading of applications. And the shock resistant 20GB hard disk drive provides ample storage space, or for ultra-rugged applications, a 2GB Flash with no moving parts is available

Featuring an IP65 sealing rating combined with Military Specification ruggedization, the PSC Falcon 4620 can operate in the toughest warehouse environments. The ability to operate in freezers to -22oF (-30oC) without an expensive and power hungry heater provides a huge advantage over the competition. An optional NEMA 4 sealed 84-key keyboard with integrated mouse provides input flexibility.
The PSC Falcon 4620 was designed to allow PSC lasers (including PowerScan RF) to directly connect to the base computer, without requiring an external power connection. This allows easy integration with both wired and wireless bar code scanners.
The base unit includes a low-profile fully adjustable mounting bracket. The flexible design allows a keyboard bracket to be attached directly to the base bracket, conserving valuable space. The optional scanner attachment allows a PSC PowerScan RF laser to be mounted to either side of the vehicle computer.
The PSC Falcon 4620 offers a choice of any of the leading Microsoft Windows Operating Systems including Embedded Windows XP, XP Professional and Windows 2000. Optional terminal emulation support is provided for VT100/220 and IBM 5250 & 3270. Optional support for a virtual on-screen keyboard is also provided.
