The "JIVA 7000" Touch Terminal by POSIFLEX uses state of the art Intel Celeron CPU technology that is easily upgradeable via Socket 370 technology. The high-speed processor easily operates various kinds of customer applications such as C-Stores, Super Market, Shopping Mall, General Retailer, Hospitality, Kiosk, Casino, Gaming and E-Commerce which all depend on high CPU performance. The JIVA 7000 is designed to support Windows 98/2000/NT/XP Professional / Linux Red hat 7.0 / X windows 4.0.2

With a unique footprint space saving design, the JIVA 7000 is ideal for use as a front-end server for small POS installations.

The JIVA 7000 has a solid design that is made to withstand the rigors of daily usage in the harshest environments.

• 15.1 LCD panel - TFT active matrix.
• A choice of Celeron CPUs with speeds ranging from 566MHz to 1.3GHz.
• Spill proof water-resistant structure protects circuitry and allows for easy cleaning.
• A patented finger release lever "geared locking mechanism" easily adjusts the LCD angel's tilt angle from 17.5o degrees to 87.5o degrees.
• Security lock prevents unauthorized access to input / output data devices.

The JIVA 7000 supports dual-independent video output - allowing for an additional display to show advertising and promotional items, while the checker views a standard cashier screen.

In order to prevent accidentally powering down the system, the power switch on the JIVA 7000 can be programmed to be only "TURN ON" or can be powered on via LAN or modem.

Integrated UPS functionality protects the system from intermittent power failures (battery optional).

Integrated speakers for multimedia applications.
