Metrologic MS3780 is an affordable Omni-Directional barcode scanner that doubles as a line scanner.

The Metrologic MS3780 Fusion combines both an omni directional and line laser barcode scanning into a single ergnomically designed, light hand-held scanner. With a twenty line line scan pattern, the Metrologic MS3780 Fusion provides superior scanning over other scanners in its class. It is ideal for medium volume retailers such as convenience markets, gift shops and pharmacies. With an adjustable stand with fifty degrees of tilt motion and three locking postions, the Metrologic MS3780 Fusion provides the individual operator with greater comfort leading to faster check outs. The base is weighted metal to provide stability and can be hard mounted to a counter or vertical surface.
The Metrologic MS3780 Fusion includes CodeGate. An integrated infra-red (IR) sensor automatically activates the laser when a bar code is present. The user then properly aligns the bar code before pressing the button, transmitting the data to the host. This feature provides the ability to pass over other bar codes, selecting only the required code. No other scanner than the Metrologic MS3780 Fusion offers this much control.
