The Logic Controls KB1700 is the simplest, most programmable, and easiest to set up of its compeitors. It is fully compatible with the IBM bump bar. All 17 keys are programmable, and it supports a full set of output codes. The Logic Controls KB1700 comes with a windows-based utility for storing key definitions...an integrator can create a program layout for multiple keypads and the first can be "cloned"
The Logic Controls KB1700 has the ability of daisy-chaining to other input devices, and provides either RS-232 or Keyboard Wedge output. The KB1700 can be configured to work in "true" keyboard wedge mode, and allows operation without a computer keyboard. It also has and internal tone speaker.
