| The Datalogic DragonT DLL6010-R radio frequency barcode scanner provides a cordless alternative to the DLL6010-M. The Datalogic Dragon DLL6010-R cordless barcode scanner communicates through a low power, license free radio in 910 Mhz band and provides freedom from cable constraint for up to 50 meters (165 feet) from the base station.
The Datalogic Dragon cordless barcode scanner system supports two types of use: Point to Point, in which each barcode scanner is associated with its own base station, and Multipoint, in which many barcode scanners (up to 32) transmit data to one base station.
Communication from the base station to the host can occur through an integrated multi-standard decoder interface (RS232, Wedge, Pen) or from the base station to base station in LAN mode through an optional ECHELON module (up to 64 bases on the same network branch).
In all applications where a particular amount of mobility is necessary, the new Datalogic Dragon cordless barcode scanner represents the key to increasing productivity and the flexibility in the working area. All models are equipped with bi-directional communication between the base station and the host. Therefore, they can transmit the code read and receive confirmation of correct reading in real time.
