The MC9500-K is part of the new generation of extremely rugged mobile computers from Motorola.
This unit has an IP67 rating which means it is sealed against
dust, particles, and can even be submerged in water and still operate.
The MC9500-K is the ideal unit for any application that is in
rugged and outdoor environments. Shipyards, oilfields, freezers,
processing plants, and construction sites are all not a problem for
this device. The MC9500-K can fufill the needs of any business.
Multiple scanner options and support for WiFi and WAN(cellular)
communications make the MC9500-K a great fit for in-house and in-field
applications. While there are several competitors when is comes to
ruggedness, like the Intermec CK70,
none come close to the same price point and feature set. Many
applications don't require such a rugged device but for those that do,
the MC9500-K is a device you can count on how ever you use it.
