National Barcode Motorola ES400 Review
Sometimes an application just needs a device that is a little more capable than a typical smart phone without going to the super rugged mobile computer
end of things. The Motorola ES400 fills this gap as an affordable
device that is more rugged than a smart phone and has a camera designed
specifically for reading barcodes. While the ES400 is not made for
scanning all day, it is a perfect fit for the sales rep in the field
that needs to scan a few times throughout the day. It is a great
value given all the communication and interface options packed into
such a low cost device. For applications that need a more rugged
device, the Motorola MC55A0 would a better fit but when price and performance are a concern, the ES400 is the best of both worlds.
