The ScanTeam 6901 Series magnetic stripe card readers are
multiple track magnetic stripe readers used with Hand Held Products'
ST8300/8400 check readers or ST2000/2010 Series point of
sale interface decoders. Its compact design and velcro mounting
pads provide easy, unobtrusive mounting. When combined with
Hand Held Products' check reader and decoder products, automatic
credit card data capture is provided to most POS terminals.
The ScanTeam 6901 Series provides the addition of credit card
data capture to leading POS systems. The ScanTeam 6901 Series products are
available to read combinations of Tracks 1, 2, and 3. When an MSR
6901 is connected to a Hand Held Products interface decoder or
check reader, the data from tracks 1 or 2 and/or 3 can be edited and
formatted to exactly match the terminal program requirements as
well as any mandated formats by credit card companies. The
ScanTeam 6901 's may also be used to read membership
ID cards, access cards, time and attendance cards, and driver’s
licenses which contain magnetic stripe data.
