The Partner Tech KB-1141M uses a membrane technology with a spill resistant and durable design making it suitable for almost any environment. This membrane technology has been tested with up to 10 million key presses. Also included is an integrated mouse pad which makes navigation in any mouse driven environment a snap. The Partner Tech KB-1141 is a highly versatile keyboard that can be used to replace any standard PC/AT type keyboard. It includes three programmable key layouts using 28 keys, providing a total of 84 programmable keys. Every key on each layout may be programmed to represent a data string of up to 16 characters. Changing between keyboard layouts can be accomplished by simply pressing a key.

Using the menu driven utility software included, the keys on the Partner Tech KB-1141M can be easily programmed ranging from one character definition to control keys with string key definitions. This software utility allows the custom layout to be saved and retrieved for modification or programming multiple keyboards. All the programmable keys are re-legendable and each programmed key is stored in the keyboard memory. The Partner Tech KB-1141M will accept single or dual key caps. Modular bar code interface and magnetic stripe readers (up to 3 tracks) are available options.
