The EasyCoder F2 is the first printer in Intermec's new F-Series made from die-cast magnesium, making it both light and durable. The EasyCoder F2 is a Direct Thermal or Thermal Transfer printer built to perform in light industrial environments.

This printer offers great flexibility as it can be fitted with full or half media covers for using 6 or 8 inch label rolls, tearoff or label autopeel, labels, tickets or tags in rolls or fanfold. The EasyCoder F2 meets demands from various industries.

The EasyCoder F2 has a 32 bit RISC processor and prints 8 ips with exceptional print quality making time to first label extremely short.

Intermec has introduced several new features into the EasyCoder F2, all designed to make life simpler for the operator. It features an open web path for quick loading of media, and the Magnet QuickMount printhead requires no tools and no technicians for replacement.

The EasyCoder F2 is designed to easily integrate into existing printer applications. Through Intermec's Fingerprint printer programming language, host-programming changes need not occur. Fingerprint allows the printer to easily adapt to your existing system without reinvesting time and money.

The printer can be equipped with an internal, intelligent EasyLAN 100i Ethernet Card for network connectivity and management. The EasyCoder F2 is also prepared for encoding and decoding of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags.
